Sorry I aint got my new pc up and running yet (7800gtx's in sli yay), how long has your card been overclocked for?, The reason I ask is that longtime overclocking reduces lifespan, but as yours is a new card thats not the problem.
The problem is probably one of 2 things, heat problem, or driver problem. So if I were you i'd check temps and a few different driver revisions.
This PC is running an X800XL agp, it runs @ 1600x1200 max shadows and all that, the shadows and reflections are great I can post a pic if need be, As you have a better card it should look a bit better.

ok... i only built my rig for a month, so its not 'old'. also, i only overclocked it from 400-1000 to 480-11xx (forgot specifics) for only a few minutes. what happened was that after i overclocked to 480-11xx, i noticed artifacts in 3Dmark05 (mainly in canyonflight, where random triangles on the screen or 'vertexes' if u know ur stuff, kept on flashing.) i freaked and i aborted the benchmark, and then returned it back to stock clocking. i also forgot to mention that the shadows that are displayed are very jittery. pixels run back and forth as a model moves, and yes this means that shadows made by stationary objects (trees, any landscape objects) do not 'suffer' from a bad shadow.
The shadow problem however seems to be a bit picky. it doesnt appear in Doom3, which i tried to see if nvidia's Ultra Shadow II 'technology' was working. The shadows were smooth in Doom3, so im pretty stumped. Correct me if im wrong tho, to the best of my knowledge Doom3 works on OpenGL and Guildwars works on DirectX? perhaps its my GPU and the DirectX that isnt working properly?
Oh btw yeh i'd love to see any screenshot of a shadow really... as long as your comp is able to handle High-shadows correctly. This is what i get:

yeh i know. i used coolbits to detect optimal frequency, and it said 476/11xx. i read from the forums that this isnt really optimal, so i pushed it up a bit, little did i know that this was just a lucky optimal frequency and that on average it should've been 460/11xx. in reality i think i pushed it up 20MHz too much.
so are you gonna help me out and take a shadow screenshot or not?
